Cybercab fleet purchase status.

Everything anyone can currently model about owning a robotaxi fleet rests on a small number of published facts and a much larger number of unpublished ones. This page keeps the two apart, and carries the date it was last checked so you can tell how stale it is.

We are not Tesla and we have no inside information. Everything below is drawn from Tesla’s own public materials. Where we have made an assumption anywhere else on this site, it is because the answer is in the second list.

Tesla publishes a fleet API covering telemetry, virtual keys and signed vehicle commands. It is the interface mersul is built against, and it is available today against test vehicles.

These are the questions we get asked most, and the honest answer to every one of them today is that it has not been published. Treat any confident answer you find elsewhere accordingly.

No price has been published for a Cybercab bought individually or in fleet quantity. Any per-vehicle economics you see modelled anywhere, including our own calculator, rest on an assumed price.
Delivery timingUnpublished
No delivery window has been published for commercial buyers, and no order book with dates has opened.
Owner-operator program termsUnpublished
How an independently owned car is enrolled on the ride network, what share of the fare the owner keeps, how and when that money settles, and what obligations come with enrolment have all not been published.
Operating constraintsUnpublished
Which markets open first, what geofences or hours apply, and what an owner is permitted to do with a car that is enrolled are unpublished.
Service and warranty obligationsUnpublished
Whether commercially operated cars carry service requirements, warranty terms or approved-vendor conditions is unpublished, and it is the single item most likely to change what an operations layer must do.
