The problem

This is the whole of the operating problem with a driverless fleet. Everything mersul does is one of these four.

Nobody notices
A soiled cabin, a soft tire, a chipped windshield in front of the camera array. In a driven car the driver catches all three. In a driverless one the car keeps taking rides until a passenger complains.

Nobody decides
Even with the signal in hand, somebody has to choose a vendor, agree a price, and decide whether the car comes off the network now or after the current ride. At 3am, twenty times a week, across a fleet.

Nobody can get in
The detailer who could clean the car has no way to open it, and you are not driving across town to unlock it. Access has to be granted to a stranger, narrowly, and taken back afterwards.

Nobody proves it happened
Without evidence the job was done to scope, you are paying on trust and releasing a car onto the network on trust. Neither survives contact with a fleet of any size.

How vendors are gradedProof, then payment, then back on the network
Before-and-after photos are graded against the dispatched scope. A pass releases the car and releases the vendor’s money. A fail reopens the job with the reason attached.
The revenue side checked, not assumed
Your dispatch log against the ride network’s settlement statement, line by line, so a disagreement is visible and queryable instead of absorbed into a total.
No cut of your fares
A per-vehicle subscription and card processing at cost. We do not touch ride revenue and we do not mark up your vendors, which keeps our incentive on jobs completed rather than on volume of spend.
